Worcester Bosch has been supplying homes in the UK with boilers since 1962, and today offers a range of high efficiency boiler technologies to help cut your heating bills and help the environment.
History
Started in 1962, the company originally called Worcester grew steadily and in the 1970s it pioneered the introduction of the more efficient combination boiler.
In 1992 Worcester became part of the Bosch Group and “with an extensive range of energy efficient products as well as a serious commitment to sustainable energy resources,” the company is responding to climate change and fuel poverty demands faced by the UK.
Awards
Worcester has received a number of awards, with Richard Soper, managing director of Worcester, recently being awarded the “Champions Award” at the British Renewable Energy Association Awards for showing the “greatest personal commitment to renewable energy” and pioneering developments in the sector.
In recent years, Worcester Bosch has introduced a range of efficient, renewable energy products such as solar water heaters and ground source heat pumps.
It also won the prestigious “Boiler of the Year” award at the 2007 Corgi awards with its Greenstar CDi range and “Energy Efficient Product of the Year” for its Greenskies solar thermal panels - as voted for by Corgi registered installers.
All of the installers recommended by Worcester are also accredited by the company, and Corgi registered.
